This was the first episode of the new series of Top Gear last sunday, and
all manner of right-on sorts have been questioning the ethics of showing the crash.
Even though Richard sat there with Clarkson & May and talked them through it!
I'm amazed he's alive, and back on TV so quickly.

Well I'm glad they showed it for his own sake. I always assumed that he, not being a professional (Giant Metal Tube with a Big Honkin' Jet Engine on the back) driver caused the accident as a result of inexperience, but as you can see it would be very difficult to regain control of a blowout at 200+ MPH.
