If you answered "yes" to ANY of the above, you are an uneducated fool worshipping at one temple or another.

I love it when they reported that "13 percent of the US population thinks Mikhail Barishnikov is President of USSR."

He was one of the 5 choices and some picked him out of ignorance or a sense of humor...but the implication was that people came up with the dancer's name on their own.

Polls can be silly.

I get calls all of the time and the questions they ask certainly don't reveal what I think.

^^^^^^

Polls are not about asking you what you think, they are about collating answers to specific questions. If you can't answer, or don't want to answer, that is your prerogative.

I don't have a problem with 'yes' to question #3. The Temple of Enlightenment and Rationality is open all hours.

It is so funny that people (mostly Americans) believe that some silly little Christ figure was the son of some even more silly God. But, the world is filled with silly superstitions. Here in Thailand most people believe in ghosts.

Pity....as so many of the world's problems stem from supersitions.

Deathrattle, it is also so disturbing to me to read about how ignorant most Americans are. With 9 out of 10 of the best universities in America the US general population (47% maybe) is simple and stupid....oh, well, I guess, they are mostly from the middle American states and the American south.....places where blind religion takes precedence over education. Most of these people have never traveled out of their home country and their education comes from the 700 Club or teachers who came out of the Bob Jones diplomma mill.

Little George is their second God.
