Lets cut to the quick....religion can, and often is, the most dangerous "cocktail" ever, and the ME is where it all started.

I don't even know what that means. Saddam and Iraq were just sitting there, minding their own business before we invaded. The empty threats were ours, the weakness is also ours. Our position has not been enhanced by the Iraq invasion, it has been harmed by it.

I do agree that an entire group cannot be held responsible for the actions of relatively few. I do not feel it is in our best interest, or any of the free world, to turn our heads away from terrorist harboring nations. There is no easy answer, but it sickens me to see "smart" people turn on our country and/or its leadership.

Time will tell what the democrats will do on this one. Both parties have had their share of poor moves, so what.

I felt a need to start this thread with its history of terror to see the reactions and ideas....did you see the nonsense that many spewed.....yeah I'm some sort of nazi ......many here need a check up from the neck up.

If it was easy or practical to identify the extremists on sight, this war would have been over a long time ago with a lot less hystrionics and regret.

They hate you for good reason. Feel free to bare your neck to their swords to answer for your crimes. That way no more of us will get caught in the crossfire.

It is you that they want dead.

LOL. His illegal, immoral neck. Based upon lies.

****

My daughters are just getting used to calling their new baby brother "he" instead of "it". My very bright 8 year-old had a bunch of questions for the nurses as they went through the post-partum routine with our son..."I saw that when you gave *it* a shot, you went really slow. Is that how you do it with a *real* person?"

Twice she prefaced questions about things by asking, "Do HUMANS..." as though he is something other than a human.

It was hysterical.

I keep calling him "she". (I have three daughters.)
