Cheney: Hillary Clinton would not be good president
WASHINGTON (AFP) - US Vice President Dick Cheney said that Democratic Senator Hillary Clinton will not win the White House in 2008 and would not make a good president if she does.
Cheney, who in October had called Hillary Clinton a "formidable candidate" who "could win" the race to replace US President George W. Bush, told CNN television "I don't" think she would make a good leader.
Asked why, Cheney replied: "Because she's a Democrat. I don't agree with her philosophically and from a policy standpoint."
Asked whether she would be president, the vice president replied: "I don't," but declined to predict the winner of the 2008, except to remind his questioner that he was not running and declare: "It won't be me."
Clinton announced Saturday that she was looking to become the first woman US president.
I pay little heed to what the so-called experts "say," and focus almost exclusively on what the actual data show. And so far, there is still no recession. I suspect we could be in one, but until I see the GDP data, as revised in February, I am not convinced.

That is like asking fish if a Boeing 747 is easier to fly than an F-16. Like Cheney would be able to recognize the qualities of a good future President. Jim

And I ask what OUR qualifications would be to recognize the qualities of a good future president?
