Perhaps these will help those of you with such severe cases of myopia.

As opposed to an un-sovereign nation? Do you even know what the words mean that you toss up here?

Star, I have acknowledged that you and even FTL may very well be the two people on Earth who didn't see Iraq as a threat to the US before we invaded.

To suggest that Iraq and India and Ireland all came up as the same on the "threat-o-meter" is a very strange thing to believe. But it lines up perfectly with the lack of ability liberals have to draw a moral equivalence. Fish are frogs are boys are dogs. Bush is Osama is Cheney is Sadaam.

But I accept that you and FTl were the only people who knew that there would be no WMDs in Iraq and that your intelligence sources were much better than Bill Clinton's. I have said as much before.

You're right. Despite my severe misgivings, the Iraq invasion has proven to be a fabulous success that has enhanced our safety, our position in the world, and the lives of the Iraqi people. Thanks for letting me borrow your glasses.

I would never suggest such a thing. You mention one country armed with nuclear weapons, and two others that can do little more than throw stones. India represents a far greater threat to the U.S. than Iraq could have ever dreamed of becoming. What planet are on anyway?

What does "smarter" mean? Aside from the percentage of the time they agree with you and FTL?

Is there a test you like in particular?

I have taken a few tests. Created by folks who were most certainly not conservative.

Doesn't it seem strange that so few people become more liberal as they grow older?

Is it because they get "less smart"?

I was the President of the YD my 3rd year as an undergrad. I managed to get Dukakis to speak on campus during his campaign (I introduced him on stage and the picture hit the AP. My uber-Dem Greek grandfather wept out of pride when he saw the picture.)

I have never, ever possesed the arrogance and ignorance needed to think that there are not BRILLIANT liberal thinkers out there. Bill Clinton, for example.

Where does such a sense of condescension come from?
