The Intl Auto Show at the Moscone center in SF usually would suffice for a car show.
Heck you would think at least there would be a good restaurant or two down there. But noooooo, I couldn't even find a decent Peruvian or Vietnamese one.
and with all those people there, you'd think. The science museum, the Winchester Mystery House and all those car dealers on Stevens Creek Bvd are not too bad, but why bother, basically? Maybe the only reasons I could think to drive down there from SF were the auto junkyards (Greatfor American cars especially) and the Flea Market near Mc Kee. But that's all
You are lucky if you are living in the City. Try the Golden Turtle (Viet.), Angkor Wat (Cambodian), Fina Estampa (Peruvian), Postrio ($$$$$), Capps Corner or Fior d Italia (Ital.) etc etc etc. if you need a culinary reminder of why to be there
