Yup, me, I've never used the 'Cruise control'- I always thought it was fitted exclusively for fabulous gay owners.

Same thing in snow -

The cruise is going to try & keep you going at a set speed - if you are in a situation with wheel slip possibilities - that ain't good

There was a nasty accident around here last winter - guy in a pickup with positrac and cruise on on an icy night - he hit an icy patch - the cruise tried to compensate the the positrac locked dthe rear diff - torqued the truck right onto the roof

Now have now a '67 Lincoln Continental (suicide 4 door for those not in the know) convertible, also have a friend with a '79 Grand Wagoneer (mint Jeep) that can backfire upon demand. First nice spring saturday I am going to load up the Conti with car pals, drop the top, cruise Dealy Plaza slowly with the Wagoneer not too far behind, then watch the outrageous antics. Ya know it is the little things in life...

PS The radar cruise in the SL55 is nice in Texas as the NAZI PATROL in small towns never gives up on revenue profits. Fuckers.
