I think it was a point well made. Look at these assholes, they get up there and say things like Bush said the other night: "This is the decisive idealogical struggles of the 21st Century." What fucking bullshit. We've got 140,000 families sacrificing for this war, and no one else. What else we got? We got gut fat Republican shitbags driving around in their SUVs thinking fighting a war means putting a yellow ribbon on your car. This isn't a war, its a private project by a political party that hijacked the US Armed Forces and turned it into a Republican Militia. Look at them now - they are using our armed forces completely against our will, against the will of the American people. Tin pot little dictator fucks, the lot of them, with Condi third from the top.
Recall that earlier generations faced down fascism and communism not just with missiles and tanks, but with sturdy alliances and enduring convictions. They understood that our power alone cannot protect us, nor does it entitle us to do as we please. Instead, they knew that our power grows through its prudent use; our security emanates from the justness of our cause, the force of our example, the tempering qualities of humility and restraint.
