This has been very helpful with my new-to-me MB.

He doesn't want to give up the "Tricked-Out" F150 just yet. The Explorer got stripped when he was car jacked and it's for sale. I need to get him out of my truck before something happens to it. And it's time he settled his ride down a little bit. (Especially when mom buys them!)

Thanks for any help out there.
My Volvo 740 has been quite reliable. Here is the link for the Volvo club of America: Volvo Club of America

The Volvo 700 series (740, 740 Turbo, 760 Turbo, 780 turbo etc.) and 900 series (940, 940 Turbo) are excellent cars. They have the same 4 cylinder N/A & Turbo running gear as the 240, 940's being slightly updated. They are super simple, extremely durable, and will run a LONG time with proper oil change intervals and tune ups. Pre-1992 700 cars had the old eco-friendly interiors that typically brittle and fall apart, post-1992 940's were updated with better interior plastics that arent nearly as poor in terms of durability. The sedans are very comfortable and the wagons offer lots of cargo space. The 6 cylinder variants of the 700 & 900 series are the ones to look out for and have proven to be nightmares no matter how they are kept... head gaskets, valve issues, etc etc...

If you bought a 4 cylinder I think you made a good decision with your purchase... keep up on major maintenance and that car will last a LONG time and keep your son safe while doing so.

I have been a Volvo driver off and on over the years... currently looking for a solid cared for 740/940 Turbo wagon to haul cargo and lightly mod... IPD here I come!

I've been shopping around for an Audi forum closely approximating this or that "other" MB site, but it's slim pickins, so far. How come none of you worthless turds also drive Audis*?

I'll second the BrickBoard for Vulvas; lot's of knowledgeable brainiacs over there.

*Kamil is a genuine turd, and thus has some measurable worth
