Worst as far as dependability would be my '89 928 S4. Honorable foul mention would go to my '02 Audi Quattro TT Conv. and my current '05 Cadillac STS4.

Had a Volvo S90. The climate control never worked right. A/C was never cold enough and the fan was anemic at best. Good looking car though.

Worst vehicle I ever owned was a 1978 Honda Hawk (400 cc vertical twin MC). I bought it brand-new (didn't even have a MC license at the time). The thing was problematic from early on and Honda -- Mighty, big, powerful Honda -- turned out to be a bunch of turds about it. I was glad to see it go.

First street bike I ever owned and the last Honda I'll ever own.

Whattayasay DR?

Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy; its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery. (Winston Churchill)

The '51 Plymouth Cranbrook my parents let me drive in highschool. Pushed it more than I drove. 6v + 10mpg and no gas guage.

Closely followed by...

$400 '73 VW Thing - Rust worms infected every square centimeter of the chassis, AND the fuel system.

Mine had to be a 1982 Ford EXP that I bought new

A/C went out twice, tires were shot at 5000 miles (and it had the metric TRX wheels)the car was built aligned for the standard wheels but the factory had put the metric wheels on it. I sold it (unloaded it) after 6 months and the new owner changed the wheels and drove it for a few years until it was wrecked.

and to think, I picked this car over the newly released Mustang GT

That reminds me, worst I ever had was my Grandmothers 1984 Ford Tempo I inheirited from her. POS. So bad I almost forgot I had it for a year. Would turn itself off at inconvenient times. Never even took a picture of the thing.

The worst car I ever owned was a mid 70's Ford Cortina Mk3 Shooting Brake, which I did actually buy just to take shooting. This was in the mid 80's and although it was 'only' ten years old it was totally perforated with rust. My poor ex-wife was compelled to learn to drive in that wreck since learners were not insured for my company car at the time. The worst thing was that the bulkhead was so rusted and the engine was blowing-by so badly that the cabin filled with exhaust gases and it could only be driven with the windows wound down.
Avi would have been as nervous as fuck in that thing. :-)

I feel your pain--I had an '87 Ford Tempo handed down from my brothers. What a POS.

1973 VW Squareback...burned to the ground on the West Virginia turnpike...very scary. Ended up at a French Restaurant named C'est Oui.

1976 Triumph TR7. It was in the shop for 4 of the 7 months I owned it.

The used car dealer tried to cover up a an engine swap so they had to take it back, thank god.
