Open bottle of Vermouth, place next to Martini glass. Pour Gin over ice in shaker.
Shake vigorously, drain into Martini glass. Put cap back on bottle of Vermouth.

Repeat as needed.

I agree 100% - GG has got to be the finest vodka to cross my lips!

It's funny because when I said this to a Russian friend living in Moscow, he became quite indignant that I was calling a French vodka the best I'd had. Of course, he argued that Russian vodka is the best, and went off about the French stealing their recipe.

We are still friends, but I don't talk about Grey Goose any more

ROTF, reminds me of what my father used to call a dry martini. You just drink gin, and look at the vermouth bottle. A variant that he used, was to wave the unopened vermouth bottle over your glass of gin.
