Huge mistake I make...
Just bought another car by accident. A 1985 Rolls Royce Silver Spur I looked at over four months ago being sold by the estate. One owner, 50k miles, blk/red, #-2 condition. Lady calls me up today and says is my $13k offer still good, I say yes, she says sold. Ugh. Never owned a Rolls before but my opinion of them isn't too high, that air suspension ought to be more unreliable than usual, and the crappy connelly leather needs a driver seat redye already despite being a garage kept, Dallas rolls dealer serviced baby by an uber-rich family, and I am confident some of the gauges won't work. Have half hearted hope on the AC but the aircon is GM so no big deal.
Drove one of these rolls many years ago and was impressed by the incredibly smooth ride and the out of control suspension motions, and the general 1960's era feel to it, despite the car being redesigned in 1981 to1998. Anyone have any experience or advice?
