Shane, follow the thread below and consult with the one and only Electric Horseman, he has had similar car problems and you can see how he handled it.

Will cars from the 80's ever be desireable classics(save all benz models)? Even most of the sports cars from that time were crap ie corvettes, some ferrari's, lambo's, but to me it seems Mercedes were really the ones that had their act's together then. 13'g's for a RR, when just imagine what kinda cherry w126 sedan or coupe you could get at that price. I have worked on and driven a RR like the one you bought, and they are neat for being from the 60's, but as an 80's model they are just stodgy and borring. I guess it is just too different a feel from a benz, and it weirds me out.

They are smooth though, and the brakes are pretty crazy(caliper quantity).

Let's see some pics.

Never owned a Rolls before but my opinion of them isn't too high, that air suspension ought to be more unreliable than usual, and the crappy connelly leather needs a driver seat redye already despite being a garage kept, Dallas rolls dealer serviced baby by an uber-rich family, and I am confident some of the gauges won't work. Have half hearted hope on the AC but the aircon is GM so no big deal.
Drove one of these rolls many years ago and was impressed by the incredibly smooth ride and the out of control suspension motions, and the general 1960's era feel to it, despite the car being redesigned in 1981 to1998. Anyone have any experience or advice?
I met a guy in college from Belgium who bought cars just like that and resold them in Europe for big bucks.
