Lake Tahoe in the making

The second best kept secret.

07 E63 AMG ** 05 E500 ** G36 Beech Bonanza
The AMG slams the competition
The E500 keeps up with the best of them
The G36 is the fastest and hardest to parallel park!

They need an airport closer, like Tahoe...that place isn't easy to get to. 2 hours from Sacramento up I-5 will get you to Redding for Chrissake. I used to live around there - the drive straight west from Redding to the coast could take a couple of hours, because the mountains aren't easy to navigate.

That's why I like it. Most people end up driving up I-80 just because it's an easier drive. It leaves Tahoe quite a bit cleaner and less crowded.

I love Tahoe, but I usally stay at a friend's ranche down the moutains on the Nevada side. Tahoe has a small airport and you can actually land a learjet in there.
