my experience is that newegg cannot be beat. they have the best prices and by far the fastest shipping. tigerdirect has been ok, but i generally don't even look there anymore because their prices have not been competitive. the last two computer i built were from parts purchased almost exclusively from newegg.

20,000mi on biodiesel and counting!

Very true. If you ever have to return something, most of the time is spent convincing them that you know more and if they were true "experts", they'd pull a bit more than $7.50 an hour.

The reason I'd mentioned pricewatch.com was because they're a central selling point for a lot of the online places. They do a good list compare of prices with ratings for the individual shops.
