Well, I was thinking of the Koreans. Oh, and BTW, don't eat at the Korean BBQ places on the North Shore, especially if your dog is missing. If you must, order the shrimp.

Recall that earlier generations faced down fascism and communism not just with missiles and tanks, but with sturdy alliances and enduring convictions. They understood that our power alone cannot protect us, nor does it entitle us to do as we please. Instead, they knew that our power grows through its prudent use; our security emanates from the justness of our cause, the force of our example, the tempering qualities of humility and restraint.

Dress up your female companion like Dog's wife, and stuff the pooch in her bra. I think she keeps a Hasty Bake and a couple of bikes in hers.

They say it tastes just like chicken!

The Brits do the same thing for the same reason. They have wiped out rabies and are being very careful. I don't know about rabies being wiped out in Hawaii, but I know it does not exist at nearly the level it does on the North American continent.

Hawaii is real strict. He'll be lucky if he gets the dog back from the impound. If he does, it will probably be some stray from the Honolulu pound. The dog just "lost some weight". A Schnauzer? No, no, that's just a skinny German Shephard.

You have to go thru two searches in Hawaii in addition to the HSA stuff, one when you arrive and one when you leave, by the Hawaiin Dept of Agriculture. The Hawaiians are very thourough. No fresh veggies. No taking back live plants, they patent them for re-sale. They xray the shit out of your luggage.

Yeah, better hurry because you're up to about 15 minutes now going up the Glenn
"Wilderness used to start at the North/East end of Merrill Field. Moose and all kinds other wild life crossing the Glenn before you got to the entrance to Ft. Richardson. I lived on the Boniface Parkway for a while as well, when it was the edge of the wilderness. Going the other way out of town, there used to be a place called the "Bird House" maybe a third of the way to Girdwood. Is that place still there?

Good luck with the move. Jim
