Apparently, embedding split pearls along the shaft of the penis, is a real sign of Yakuza/Japanese status and virility. All I knew at the time, is that I was surely freaked out by the sight.

Ummm, touching was not on the table, so I can happily plead ignorance on this one.

Oh btw, I knew he was ex-Yakuza, because he was missing one of his pinky fingers. These guys were all real characters. Most fishermen are.
