Well clearly. But the point of the article and the ensuing discussion are that law and justice do not always tread the same path. I believe most would agree that they should.

I would agree that this penalty seems more harsh than ALOT of murderers get. It would be nice to see someone who kills someone else more than 7-8 years but the laws need to be changed to amend those wrongs. Either way I dont feel bad for someone who breaks the law and gets punished. But there does need to be some equalization done on some of the laws.

What if you're caught causing an accident due to wreckless driving and there's a gun in the glove box? Now we have an actual crime victim. 55 years? Whadda ya think?
