what he said.

don't get me wrong, i'm not the world's biggest ford fan. but it pisses me off when all these car companies give the us market such uninspiring cars relative to the rest of the world. there was a visiting scholar that came from germany and bought my old isuzu. he said he has a diesel focus back home. in germany they offer 2 gas and 3 diesel engines for a freaking focus. what do we have here, maybe 2 choices period?

20,000mi on biodiesel and counting!

The USA generally gets the best vehicles from global manufactuers as we have the most competitive market in the world. Alot of the worldly cars ain't good enough here, like the old Skylines for instance, that the mental midget crowd here in the USA stupidly made an icon of.

PS Americans still hate diesel cars generally speaking.

Ford is doing a good job here selling their cars considering the lack of products they have to offer. Diesels are very popular here as the govt. still subsidises some of the cost for diesel fuel. I expect with technology changes and the price of oil going north of 80 USD a barrel which is bound to happen sooner rather than later diesle may just xatch on there as well, I understand the new Mercedes Deisels are quite popular.
