That would have worked out great for us, I bet. As far as "no opinion", how do you know that?

Recall that earlier generations faced down fascism and communism not just with missiles and tanks, but with sturdy alliances and enduring convictions. They understood that our power alone cannot protect us, nor does it entitle us to do as we please. Instead, they knew that our power grows through its prudent use; our security emanates from the justness of our cause, the force of our example, the tempering qualities of humility and restraint.

I'm saying what you saw on TV was a section of the country. This coverage in no way proves the country's views as a whole. What is life really like in Venezuela? You know, the poor, where the masses live? How does a candidate get their votes in Venezuela?

Ask Jimmy Carter, he's the International Supervisor of Elections. Quit kidding yourself - Venezuela has more poor people than rich people, and they vote for Chavez. He's a lock in that country as long as he appeals to that constituency. He is by all accounts, doing them some good, and he is probably doing harm elsewhere. But he is better than what they had.

Cascade, The whole world will be watching this election. Most people here are affraid of Chavez after he quoted that the ABC Islands belongs to Venezuela. Eversince the Dutch beef up its Navy and Airforce plus the US has a base on the island of Curacao.

The Taxi driver who owned the Lorinser body kit E-Class bought a new E270CDI dark blue Elegance Edition and he put on 17" five spoke rims. Even the taxi sign is a new shape (like V) which cuts the wind when driving.

You KNEW that car and the taxi driver who had it??? Hard to believe what a small world it is. When I saw that red E class taxi there with the Lorinser body kit and wheels, I was amazed, but had no one to share the amazement with. He really appreciates his cars, that's for sure. I bet he must love driving those cars.

Chavez wins his fourth term. He claims that he trun things around in Venezuela and put more preasure on the United States and Bush Administration.

Already there was a small conflict when a Dutch Air Force plane based at the Hato International Airport of Curacao was chased by Venezuelean F16 claiming that the Fokker F200 had crossed in to Venezuela air space.

The Dutch has a routine flight around the ABC Island searching for drugs smuggling. Working with the US and Dutch/Netherlands Antilles/Aruba Coast Guard.

I've never liked the idea of European powers and their colonies in the West Hemisphere - this started in my family around 1776 or so. Fuck the Dutch.

Wow. Curacao must be the head of the DEA.
