When you stumble onto the truth I doubt you will recognize it.

Typical socialist propaganda. Truth is a plastic medium onto which you impress your version of reality.

Nope, I insult the POLICY, not the soldiers. Two completely different things.

And your second paragraph. Please ID the subject "them" at least once so I know who didn't know their place.

Too contrived, Bot. How about, you decide to drain a lake behind a dam to catch all the fish in the lake by pulling the keystone in the dam. The dam subsequently fails catastophically, and rushing water wipes out town after town downstream. To ignore that it was your action that set the fatal floodwaters loose, no matter how much you protest that was not your intent does nothing to excuse you from being declared responsible for the consequences, from the drowning deaths, to looting and murders by fleeing citizens of others perceived to be in their way.

Your dog kennel analogy is inappropriate because it was specifically constructed to make the cause and effect nearly impossible to logically connect while our initial "shock and awe" assault to depose Saddam and subsequent incompetent actions attempting to restore order are directly responsible for the present chaos and general direction of rapidly degrading security.

With a comment like that, I have to wonder where in the hell have you been? The Iraq leadership had already lost two wars, but were threatening still another war. That same leadership payed something like $25,000 to the families of the suicide killers that were killing and maiming people all over the world. We terminated that leadership.

Threatening still another war? What the fuck are you talking about? Is that utter bullshit, or what?

And the suicide bombers he paid were Palestinians, not people "maiming people all over the world".

Recall that earlier generations faced down fascism and communism not just with missiles and tanks, but with sturdy alliances and enduring convictions. They understood that our power alone cannot protect us, nor does it entitle us to do as we please. Instead, they knew that our power grows through its prudent use; our security emanates from the justness of our cause, the force of our example, the tempering qualities of humility and restraint.
