If so, I say we cut our losses and abandon Washington. We've been fighting in the streets there for over 200 years and we still can't get the factions to live in peace.

You are right, then we must allow Israel to openly run DC since it does it in the background anyway
Just like I have proposed that we give them Iraq to deal with and only BNZ responded to this suggestion but with no real content. Any takers? come on you wussies, too taboo of a subject?

Best I come-up with is this: It's silly.

Why is it silly?
We went to Iraq to protect Israel, I would expect some level of loyalty here. Aghanistan, same shit, Pakistan needs to get in there and replace our forces so we can regroup and be a real threat to Iran.
Don't you think that Iran is playing us right now? they know that we are spread too thin. It's time to call our "allies" for some real help here. Now what's silly about this?

GS, we can get rid of the politicians. But why throw the baby out with the bath water?

Otherwise we may as well get rid of all inner cities. BTW, where will that lead us? Comparing our inner cities with a war torn country is moronic thinking, plain and simple.

Of course it is -- utterly laughable.

The point is, YOU don't see the stupidity of your last number of posts. You have contradicted yourself, back stepped, and presented bogus data. You say that DC is safer then Baghdad, then you say it's tempting fate to go into those areas. Do you have a clue as to what you're talking about, our do you just like to see your name on a post?

Again you have this screwed up, try and pay attention. If DC is so much safer then Iraq, you should be able to go anywhere at any time. You have just admitted that this is not the case. People have been attacked and mugged on the Mall for Pete's sake.......
Speaking of throwing money down a pit, do you have ANY idea how much money has been spent in DC in the last six years? The leadership in DC is democrap as you should know, all they want is more money, and nobody knows where it's going. The parallels with Iraq and Baghdad are far closer then you are willing to admit, the only real differance is that there are no IED's, but I expect that any day now.

Either make a rational case or stop acting like an idiot.

1. I reject the premise.

2. Of course they are. Every country on Earth plays us and we play back. That's the nature of life. Deal with it.

3. Spread too thin? Only to folks who quail at risk.

4. The pretentious, yet patently shallow knowledge and thought behind it.

Brucie, where in the sentence did I ever say D.C. is safer than Baghdad? I said comparing an inner city crimes with a war torn country is ludicrous. If you pay attention, Camden NJ is the murder capital and not DC. And yes, walking around in any inner city is just plain tempting fate. It does not has to be in DC or Anacostia.

You are projecting your own expectations. Look at the number of posts you have, you; appear is the attention whore here. Get a life outside of this virtual world. Maybe you see what reality you have been missing.

Bullshit. You get mugged anywhere. There were gun shots in Annapolis Mall two weekends ago. A score of shoppers critically injured. You compare than to Iraq too? Your bullshit comparison is getting more wacky each day. People get mugged at the Monument and made national headlines because it is one of world's favorite tourist spot. Buying into this media whore shows your simple mind.

Sounds like you have a hard on with the DC City Government. The truth is, you can do something about the corruptions in that city; if you have that passion. DC is still a city within the confine of this Republic we called United States of America last I checked. Pissing away our tax money to foreign land is like investment, you may get nice returns or you may get screwed. In the case of Iraq, we are screwed. Twice; once by your Party and the other; Party puppets like you who supported this fvcking fiasco. You don't agree? We should clean our own house before we go clean someone else's.

I am against this American Imperialism from day one. Go back and read all my posts.

There is no parallel between the two, get that out of your head.

You still think this goddamn Iraq fiasco is something proud to speak of. I attribute your sick minds from one too many bomb blasts you received in 'Nam.
