Ha ha ha, your such an angry person, and we are all such idiots. To accuse me of being a Rush Dittohead is simply laughable, and just wrong. Polarize everything and there shall be no where to agree on anything.

I do think the Bush administration has effed up big time since Hussein was taken out of power (read: Rumsfeld's military mismanagement that did not provide enough boots on the ground and allowed Paul Bremer to remove Iraq's internal power structure without any cogent plan to assume its responsibilities), but I am not the first person to believe that the terrorists are not disappointed by the last elections.

I have yet to hear one reason or explanation that makes any sense on how our troops "are defending me" in Iraq. It is there you will find the essence of suckerdom. Anyone who thinks they are in Iraq doing that is a chump.

Recall that earlier generations faced down fascism and communism not just with missiles and tanks, but with sturdy alliances and enduring convictions. They understood that our power alone cannot protect us, nor does it entitle us to do as we please. Instead, they knew that our power grows through its prudent use; our security emanates from the justness of our cause, the force of our example, the tempering qualities of humility and restraint.

B) Since Bush invaded Iraq and Afghanistan with the armies Clinton "ruined", perhaps you can explain to me their success?

C) I am glad they are having so much fun butchering the people of Iraq over imaginary WMDs.

If Bush and Cheney were to somehow leave office tomorrow Americans would be dancing in the streets.

They are "fighting them there so they won't come here". Must be trench warfare.

The utter illogicality of that one is Orwellian. They did come here, and they didn't come from Iraq.

Logic is regained is they simply complete the job. We need to kill everyone, so no one can come here ever again. It's time for the Fourth Reich to rise up and rule the whole world! No more Mr. Nice Guy!

A) Hey, that old guy in Gettysburg picked up his musket to defend his country so you'll need a less lame excuse.
B) There would had been sufficient troops and equipment available for governance and security after the invasion - which is the crux of the problem now - if your ol' bud Fat/Slick/Adulterer Willy had not reduced DOD funds as a matter of policy - such actions are not easily or quickly corrected - and therefore I say that, his miscalculations notwithstanding, Rumsfeld would have had a much better hand of cards to begin the game (I don't use that word lightly in referring to the war which has taken too many lives on both sides). Your reference to success I'm sure applies only to the actual initial overthrow, and the answer to that is there WERE enough troops to get that job done, but because of the Clinton administration we're in a situation now where the military is spread just too damn thin.
C) Considering just about every politician in both parties from Ketchup Kerry and Hillary on up "speechified" about Hussein's WMDs, what's your point? I'd rather proceed with the belief that he had WMDs and be pleasantly surprised that he didn't, than to hope there weren't and have to call home for a hundred thousand body bags. But what do I know?

Re dancing in the streets: Anyone who believes the people who are our enemies in Iraq and Afghanistan will pack up and go home for dinner if we bug out is a fool. Do you not know that Pakistan is likely one of their next major focuses (foci? foca?) and its nuclear weapons will give the terrorists unthinkable ability for real - not imaginary - mass destruction? Are you ignorant about what could happen within Iran? I said this once and here it is again, reworded a bit: The candidates that America's enemies would have voted for have been elected.

Nothing new, just more AM radio doublespeak.
