Harder than you think....

My brother is the Greens Superintendent at a country club in PA. He has to requisition a new pick up truck for the course. He has been trying to acquire a new, stripped down pick up for light duty work and parts runs, for the past few weeks. After visiting many, many dealerships, none have a stripped down, automatic, 2 wheel drive, no electronic windows, no fancy wheels, bench style seat, no A/C, no frills pick up. He can get one "Special" order, but has to wait several weeks, and believe it or not, there are extra fees involved. Funny, it is harder these days to find vehicles without the gingerbread.

I've got a neighborhood in Houston you can park one of the fancy ones in overnight, and it will be converted into a stripped-down version for you at no charge. Surely you know how to find Elgin Ave off 59?

So now you have a fee of $3.99 the cost of his meal. Take the truck back to the dealership and sign for a not only a stripped down version but get a salvage discount on top of everything.
After you finsih the deal, FTL and I will meet you and give you back all the goodies for say a grand each and you will still be ahead. What do you say?
