The Professor is a wise man. I agree.

Remember that there a lot of 30 year-old boys around.

Just because he is older than you are, don't assume he is a grown-up.

If you were a guy in your say...early 30's...would moving back in with your parents mean you have financial problems? Like debt or would you honestly be saving up for some property? Wouldn't you be able to live on your own & save up at the same time? Just curious on this that's all...
It is possible he is being honest, but any guy in his 30s who needs to move in w/ mom and dad to "save up" is likely a loser. You might want to keeping looking...

Don't believe everything you think

Okay, if he was, say 20 and living with mommy, then maybe he's still in college. 25 and living with mommy, he needs direction. 30 and living with mommy = FUCKING LOSER! But, you never can tell (or can you?).

Yeah, get rid of him. He's probably in the relationship for the money. If he's a great guy overall, I wouldn't let this get in the way of being "just friends" though.
