If a person chooses to be skeptical and cynical, hunting for any shred of impropriety, they'll eventually find it.
If a person chooses to accept blindly that which they are told by a given source, it matters not what God himself would have to say.
People find what they look for. People believe in that which gives them emotional satisfaction. That is, of course, unless they try a little harder to be objective and challenge the tone and substance of their own beliefs regularly.
If you think there was something more nefarious than "Saddam has had WMD's forever, and with our country reeling from 9/11, we're going after the low hanging fruit" behind the Iraq invasion, nothing anyone says will change your mind.
What I will not do, is accuse you of lying should you make such statements. Nor will I accuse you of lying if you say the Iraq invasion was an act of vengeance by 43 for 41. At best, only one of those points of view is accurate.
