Just spoke to my GF in L'ville. She says that is a BIG rivalry game for Rutgers whatevers and the Cardinals.

I'm in West Virginia, and those 2 (WVU-Louisville) played last Thursday night on ESPN. They were ranked something like 3 and 5 (dunno which was which), and I would have thought that was a much bigger game. Shows what I know about college football...

Good point Ron, I used to think so too. However, I think basketball remains the hottest, and most watched, sport in Kentucky (with the possible exception of thoroughbred horse racing)

Hoops would be Lexington [UK] with Louisville [UL] attempting to keep up. As for Horse Racing, we have 4 major tracks in the state, each race about two months per year.

With football, UK has not been a player since a certain other Bear left back in the 40's.

I'm a big college hoops fan -- go Illini!
