By the way, I just started to read it and I don't know what you guys are talking about. This is an extremely easy read.
Time for a review: I didn't say it was hard to read.

Reading comprehension should be in your repertoire, being a honors student and all.

I am not at all surprised that you would not read either the Communist Manifesto or the Quran. Why trouble your pretty little head with IDEAS from others. You do not have to convert to their philosophies but it helps you to understand the world you are living in if you at least understand where they are coming from.

One of the main distractions, and associated failures, of our current Foreign Policy is that The Great Decider also failed to read and understand the cultures and beliefs of others.

In your first two posts of this thread you managed to sum up the primary problem with the Neo Conservative Republican movement in the United States – a lack of a World View encompassing a complete ignorance of cultures beyond the borders of the United States. Congratulations.

It's not like I had anything to do so I sat in some classroom and listened to them talk for a few. Man, these people are some whacked out human beings. All they kept saying was they were for the working people and were hating on capitalism. Some of the other topics they described were to make the "border hoppers" legal citizens and to stop sanctions on the Koreans. I don't think they enjoyed my presence there since I was the asshole constantly throwing in my word or trying to start an argument with the ones leading the seminar. They kept crying about the fact that 30% of the world's population does not have electricity and I said: "who gives a shit, as long as we have it in the states then it's all good." I wish someone would have recorded the whole presentation as it was pretty crazy. So many times I just wanted to rip out the chair and throw it at the speaker.

By the way, isn't Venezuela a socialist nation? They were saying how great the socialist programs are that I couldn't help it and yelled out: "isn't Venezuela in the shits and they are socialists." The lady speaker then decided to tell me that Venezuela is a capitalistic nation. Almost forgot, the lady speaker was the main person running for the socialist party or something to that effect.

On my way out they kind of kept me there longer then everybody to try to have a little debate or whatever. I told them right off the bat that I was 100% Republican so they gave me a book called Communist Manifesto.

Is it worth reading or will I just get pissed off? I opened it to some page and read a paragraph and I just wanted to rip the shit up.

Any comments?

You know you are a complete jackass if even MMover does not like you.

Why did you even go there if you did not have doubt about your own convictions? Don't tell us that you are tolerant and open minded and that's why you went to that meeting, having read your posts I don't believe that to be the case. Anyway, I would have used their manifesto as toilet paper since the campus janitors seem to install sand paper in our bathrooms.
