We seem to be going in the same direction... He really believes our troops are a bunch of morons, and he mistakenly thinks most Americans agree w/ him. It is politically stupid, but very reminiscent of when he and Jane Fonda testified before the US Congress 40 years ago that our American troops are murderers and rapists. What goes around comes around. And that asshole may have just pushed this election into the Republicans column.

Don't believe everything you think

That isn't what he said at all. He was disparaging Bush, not the troops. Bush was just too stupid to realize that Kerry was calling him a moron, as in 'Bush didn't take advantage of his education, so he lands us in Iraq'.

Yup, I can see how one could read it either way. Shame on Kerry, he is far too literate to use that kind of sloppy language. Still, the meaning seems clear when one applies a little common sense.

I guess the folks who have the kids in Iraq should be left to that.

Thanks John for being so smart.

A lot of people here didn't get the message either. When talking to/about Republicans you cannot assume they have the intellect to understand anything but simple language. Dont think they can read between the lines. Kerry WAS a soldier why would he call them uneducated and stupid?. Think about it.
