How to pick the right color for your desired car

When you will buy a car it is very important to choose a color. Although deciding on what color your car should have is not as important as selecting an engine, it can, however, affect your personality and the car’s price. Colors make you and your car look good. There are also other car companies that charge a higher price depending on the color of the car. Pink cars tend to be higher because its color is unique.

Metallic colors are proven to last long. In effect, you will save money in the long run. This kind of car color will also make your vehicle more valuable. If you will paint or finish your car with metallic colors, chances are, you can sell it at a higher price if you decide to trade it in the future. Usually, convertible cars and sports cars with this kind of colors have a good return investment. Metallic colors are the so-called “colors of value and dependability”.

The most common colors of a car include silver, red, and blue because they are the so-called “popular car colors”. As a result of their popularity, most car manufacturers assemble cars in large quantity having these colors. However, base on the survey conducted by DuPont Automotive in 2005, the most famous car color in North America is silver; which takes up 18%. Moreover, because of the reputations of silver, red, and blue, they became more prone to car thieves and hijackers. These colors, when sold by car thieves, are guaranteed to be purchased in less than a year.

Each vehicle type comes with the best suitable and famous colors. According to DuPont Automotive’s 2005 Color Popularity Report, the top five most famous colors for Sports Utility Vehicle and trucks are White, which takes up 21 percent; Gray – 17 percent, Silver – 16 percent, Blue – 12 percent, and Red – 11 percent. The list also rounds up Black, Light Brown, Green, and Yellow.

this cleverly combines one of those colors of value and dependability with no less than 2 popular car colors.

so this specimen is both a good investment and desireable to car thieves

After selling 10+ cars on E Bay I can tell you that BLACK is by far the most desired color on a classic car. Quality of paint matters too. Blazing red is good for resale, and is just second to black. Metallic colors do not, repeat do not guarantee higher resale. The only good for resale metallic colors are those in the common jewel tone range of colors.
I have noticed people nowadays are afraid of any color but the extreme basics, especially in the interior. Unusual colors just do not sell anymore in quantity. So if I owned a Mercedes dealer I would only order sheep black or too afraid to think outside the box silver with brain matter grey or small intestine beige interior just so I would know the masses would be placated and buy most unoriginal car around. I bet the fuckers vote for Bush too.

Last night on BJ Auction a BLACK SL Gullwing went for close to a million, I believe that if it had been silver it would have gone for more.

Here, let me give you guys a major boner -

Recall that earlier generations faced down fascism and communism not just with missiles and tanks, but with sturdy alliances and enduring convictions. They understood that our power alone cannot protect us, nor does it entitle us to do as we please. Instead, they knew that our power grows through its prudent use; our security emanates from the justness of our cause, the force of our example, the tempering qualities of humility and restraint.

-President Barack Obama, 1st Inaugural address
