Not good. He blew the debates by trying to turn them into a comedy monologue, which fell flat with just about everybody , and the papers savaged him as just a lightweight who was not serious about the issues. His numbers have tanked, letting the dem Chris Bell have some daylight. Bell was able to raise several million in the days following the debates thanks to his perceived debate win and Kinky's self-inflicted nose dive. Like Perot, Kinky was on his way and blew it. I was going to vote for him.

Recall that earlier generations faced down fascism and communism not just with missiles and tanks, but with sturdy alliances and enduring convictions. They understood that our power alone cannot protect us, nor does it entitle us to do as we please. Instead, they knew that our power grows through its prudent use; our security emanates from the justness of our cause, the force of our example, the tempering qualities of humility and restraint.

Kinky defines "politics:" He says it's "poly"--more than one--and "tics"--bloodsucking paracites...

He also said he's too young for Medicare and too old for women to care...

Bull fucking shit.

I don't believe it for a second.

It is called triangulation. Clinton did it to win. Dems who don't have secure positions have to do it to win. They can't say what they believe.

They lie about who they are and what they believe.

Democrat= My taxes get raised. My kids college fund goes away. I am fucked.

(I have to admit that Harold Washington seems sincere about his beliefs, though.

I hope he is an honest guy. If so, he is the first democrat in years that I like.)

You make a valid point! I won't hold my breath until they extend the president's tax cuts. That's for sure!

He's done an awesome job and stayed away from the negative shit. He's got my vote. Reasonable healthcare($30 a month) for any children of low income families, what other state has that?
In all actuality I am actually going to be voting for this Dem. Bewteen him and Topinka I think they are both crooked ass pieces of crap, but the only solice I have in voting for good ol Rod is that I believe the Feds will be knocking on his door next. Then hopefully at the next set of elections there will hopefully be two better candidates that may bring some inkling of honesty to this corrupt pile for which we call a state.

PS you are kiding about the AWESOME job I hope........

My Car WOO HOO...... Now SOLD
New car.... 2001 Jaguar XJR!!!!
