In the US, Carmel, CA
Out of US, Sorrento, Italy

I love many big cities too, but none is capable of really knowing in the way small cities are.

Don't believe everything you think

Three great cities I know, that also have the bonus of nice beaches.

1. Sydney - I worked there for a while.
2. Cape Town - I had a holiday there this Spring
3. Barcelona - had holidays there too.

Rome is great for the culture bugs. London has everything and is the best. (imho)

In the US, my favorite has got to be my hometown. Other than that, there's always Los Angeles, and Detroit because the Renaissance Center is sweet, I tend to ignore the fact that it's GM world headquarters. Oh and I try to ignore all the GM cars. I did get to sit in a bunch of them, including the Z06 and XLR-V. But man, the doors closing sounded as cheap as ever!!!

Outside the US, it would have to be anywhere in Viet Nam. Such a wonderful atmosphere and everyone is so friendly. You know the neighbors all the way down the street, and even miles away.

Of the places I've never been thats out of the US, I like Woking, England, and Sindelfingen, Germany.

Ah yes, but that's not the town, merely a resident. Oxford is a beautiful place, did you visit? Come to school there!

Actually, I've never set foot on Britain before. I'd love to though!! Maybe when I get out of college.

Sorry, I mis-read what you had said about 'never' visited. ( Was watching the news on TV and not concentrating!)
