Hey, I know I'm supposed to be some sort of screaming communist, but I am not. I was raised in a family of a lot of World War II veterans who were strong Democrats, and were virilently anti-Fascist. They fought it, and knew what it was, and as a result, so do I. One of them was very badly wounded on Iwo Jima, and everytime I hear someone equating being a Democrat with "treason" I want to punch them in the face as I think of the 40 years my great uncle had to spend in a wheelchair for their sorry ass. I actually agree more with conservative fiscal philosophy, altho I do believe there needs to be a minimum of social programs to offer the poor some sort of decent life, and I agree on a variety of other issues, like strong voter ID and pro-gun legislation. My position is one that I think a variety of conservatives, and I use that term in the Goldwater/Reagan sense, are coming to see - Bush is not a Republican, hell he's not even a conservative. He is a front man for the elements of modern fascism that put him and his cronies into power. I am motivated to speak out against him because 400,000 Americans died in the 1940s to stop this from happening, and now our home grown fascists are trying to slip it under the door. Protect your freedom. Get rid of this bunch of murdering war criminals lining their pockets with cash soaked in blood.
