Had a serious argument with a State Farm adjuster over a client's case over ten years ago. The SF adj. guy got so incensed he wanted to see me in person. We met, had lunch and became good friends along with his roommate who was workng on an online stock trading scheme. They shared a two bedroom apartment and had two old, nothing special cars and a sofa. That was really it. I used to buy them lunch and stuff since the money disparity was so vast.
Fast forward to today and they both are worth over 20 million each with another 5 to 10 million likely income in the next couple of years. The scheme went online and became a success with many, many, thousand trades a day. Now they buy me lunch.
