i will propose a solution..

USA should invate mexico, occupy it and anex it into the United States of America..

After that, all mexicans will be american citizens and hence entitled to same benefits. The American business men could invest and run the mexican industries hence boosting ecnonomy with cheap labour

and there will be no more mexican problem to bang head against!!

Fuel economy!! whats that??

I agree, but I doubt we would to "invade". Mexicans love America. They would just want to know where to sign.

Recall that earlier generations faced down fascism and communism not just with missiles and tanks, but with sturdy alliances and enduring convictions. They understood that our power alone cannot protect us, nor does it entitle us to do as we please. Instead, they knew that our power grows through its prudent use; our security emanates from the justness of our cause, the force of our example, the tempering qualities of humility and restraint.

Owning pickup truck I can buy materials, pick up couple of Mexicans at Home Depot and in 3 days save probably at least 4 grands by doing the job with Mexicans.
What would you do?
If it was not illegal I would hire the Mexicans. They are hard working and for the most part honest.
Here is an example minus the Mexican. When I first got this house it needed exterior painting. I called around for estinates and the least I got was like $40K excluding prep work. I figured the prep work will be at least that much too. Being a teacher, I don't have 40+ smakers laying around for this kind of stuff so I did it myself. I could not find a Mexican but when I went around and asked some "poor" kids from the projects to work with me for the whole summer at $10 an hour not a single one showed up. I ended up with my wife scarping and heatgunning like 50 windows and all the woodwork on the Victorian. It took us all summer. The paint was the easy part.
Total material cost: $2K

They are honest because they have no chance at improvement economically home. Wouldn't you be nice if someone gave you a high paying job?

This is interesting because I am too lazy to consider a high paying job anymore. As matter of fact I quit a "high paying job" so I can have quality time and 3 months vacations every year
Each his own I guess. Money helps but it's not everything and sometimes it comes at a cost that washes away its benefits. I say health and hapiness is more important. So I would be nice regardless.

We live in first world country. They are in a second world. Their values, nay needs, are understandably different.

Mexico has to stop exporting its social and economic problems. Mexicans love Mexico, and the US dollar. The labor intensive sectors of Corporate America collects the extra profits without contributing to the extra costs in health care, education etc. that the American tax payer has to pay for after all is said and done. At the same time retirees have to make the choice of either eating, or getting their medications. There is no such thing as an illegal immigrant. An immigrant is legal, an illegal by definition is not. Breaking the law should not be rewarded at the expense of others who have contributed to this society. Teutone (resident alien)

Perfectly stated. Echoing what FTL has said, the cheating bastards who make a practice of employing these criminals need to be punished severely. If there are no jobs for illegal aliens, there is no incentive for them to cross the border. If there's no incentive for them to cross the border, quite simply, they won't (unless they're either adrenaline junkies or very avid hikers).

The best deterrent to those who would cross our borders cannot be built from metal & stone - it must be built with firm resolve and the stroke of a pen. Then again, the right choice is rarely the easy one.

At least you don't have to deal with evacuees! People being shot at local car washes. Others being beaten outside of your local Walgreen's because its across the street from a HS where many evacuees attend and feel like getting some pleasure of hurting others after school.

If anyone saw Brian Rohrbough, whose son Daniel was killed in the Columbine massacre, appear on CBS news, you may be wondering whether or not he was on to something.

http://www.prolifeblogs.com/articles...c_states_p.php
"I am saddened and shaken by the shooting at an Amish school today and last week's school murders. When my son Dan was murdered on the sidewalk at Columbine High School on April 20th, 1999, I hoped that would be the last school shooting.

Since that day, I tried to answer the question why did this happen? This country is in a moral free fall. For over two generations, the public school system has taught in a moral vacuum, expelling God from the school and from the government, replacing Him with evolution, where the strong kill the weak without moral consequences. And life has no inherent value.

We teach there are no absolutes, no right or wrong. And I assure you, the murder of innocent children is always wrong, including by abortion.

Abortion has diminished the value of children. Suicide has become an acceptable action and has further emboldened these criminals. And we are seeing an epidemic increase in murder/suicide attacks on our children.

Sadly, our schools are not safe. In fact, we now witness that within our schools, our children have become a target of terrorists from within the United States.
In one fell swoop, Mr. Rohrbough sums up a very complex set of issues (why people feel so strongly about the positive values inherent in Christianity for example), from "separation of church and state" to "terrorism" to "pro-life/anti-abortion", and perhaps not entirely inaccurately, plots these trends as an inverse of the violence you describe in Houston.

Of course, the idiotic cunt Katie Couric gave such concepts a miss, and said this of his commentary (on her blog):
"We knew when we decided to put on this segment that a lot of people would disagree with it. We also knew some might even find it repugnant."
How very compassionate. Sorry, I'm on board with O'Reilly on this one.
