Damn straight!

LOL Zeit, if you weren't such a leftist, I'd have empathy.....

Okay, I'm teasing. I do have empathy, but since you are a lefty, I'm enjoying these few moments of your misery.

The thing weighed nearly 100 lbs, so all he had to do was run a bead of silicone down, and gravity would've done the rest.

You HAVE been warned!
I take it was a cast iron with enamel coating.

Cast iron is brittle - you could have used your pent-up energy and wielded a sledgehammer and the sink would have cracked in half - or if you are an operatic singer, you could have tried extreme range of vocals and shattered the sink into smithereens.

I pulled a cast iron bath tub from the first floor bathroom ( I have no use for a bath tub on a floor were no one sleeps) and I was tempted to use a hammer to break it up so I could haul it out.
I managed however to carry it out of the house and I hid it with a tarp. Now that I am "thinking" this 250 lb bath tub is deep and has some real nice angles why not convert it by drilling side holes into a jacuzi? I am building a new bathroom for the master suite on the second floor so maybe I should hault it back upstairs. Anyone want to volunteer to help me?
What do you guys think, should I modify it or just go and buy a ready made one that's hopefully a little lighter?

Buy a "real" jacuzi, you'll save yourself a lot of money and time.

I know I did. Around $1000, delivered, beautiful 62" pink triangle.
Enough space for two

( no one from this forum is invited. Well, on the second thought..chill_babe, wanna try? ) )
