Are you off you meds? I certainly said no such thing. My point (which I honestly thought was crystal clear to anyone with basic reading comprehension skills) is that everyone who voted for Bush in 2004 should still support him. That does not appear to be the case. Why? It's the same guy with the same message and the same agenda.

A helicopter typically has between 10 and 35+ hours of maintenance for every hour it flies. A CH47 has 3,500+ horsepower engines that burn fuel at a rate commensurate with that horsepower. The way these trucks were loaded, you're probably looking at two helo's per truck..... does that make any sense to you, particularly when ambush's like this don't happen every day. If they did you can be assured the media would report it!
So,sending troops on suicide missions trumps helicopter maintenance cost

Suicide Mission implies that the GI's and truckers all knew that they are going to die.......... Do you really think that was the case?
If the truck drivers had any clue that they would be shot at, do you think they would have gone? If the Army thought that they would be shot at, do you think they would have gone so lightly armed? Try useing your head instead of your party line, you might not look quite so silly..............

So finally you are making my point. We are incapable of proper planning in that region because we don't understand how they work. All those billions spent on intelligence you may as well flush them. The problem stems from the fact that we listen to "experts" that have never lived or operated in those regions. They baffle the President with their talks and academic bullshit as if it was a Hollywood movie. Sometimes I think it's the same producers but what do I know!
We never invested in real intelligence but relied on think tanks populated with people that have their own agendas. If I am wrong, please someone tell me to sit the hell down, but this is the real sad truth.

Why does time stand still?

Sorry Zidane, I will refrain from that next time.
How do I know he is a tosser? Jeez I have hair on my palms that proves that I did the same thing when I was his age, as matter of fact sometimes my eyeballs fall out of their sockets too. I am still paying the price, are you?

You're making the same kind of wrong turn that the convoy made Prof........... This has nothing to do with what the advisors told the President, or what the intel on the ground was, it was a simple mistake by someone in the lead vehicle, no more, no less.
