Although the truth is that a good number of that 51% just weren't paying attention, apparently. Why else would anyone who pulled the lever for Bush have abandoned him in the meantime? Same guy, same message, same agenda. If they can't pay enough attention to know who they're voting for, just do us all a favor and stay home.

Ah, you know the truth of the election. Always handy to have a truthsayer around for these things.

Then tell me, oh doubter of all things, have you another plausible explanation that doesn't include mass hypnosis? Tell me how GW Bush has changed betwixt non and 2004 to cause so many to abandon ship.....

The difference between my analysis (everybody who voted for Bush was a freaking genius) and yours (everybody who voted for Bush was a freaking moron) is that I don't believe either of our contentions are more than an hallucinatory interpretation of nonexistent data.

All I'm saying is that the only vote that counts indicates that more people supported Bush's world view than anybody else's. Geniuses? Morons? Whatever. Their view prevailed when it counted.

Do you call a football game play by play after only seeing one down as well? You would be a very rich man if that were the case.

Weren't you one of the guys screaming about costs? A helicopter typically has between 10 and 35+ hours of maintenance for every hour it flies. A CH47 has 3,500+ horsepower engines that burn fuel at a rate commensurate with that horsepower. The way these trucks were loaded, you're probably looking at two helo's per truck..... does that make any sense to you, particularly when ambush's like this don't happen every day. If they did you can be assured the media would report it!
