Still waiting on a serious statement that file sharing is wrong. Come on, you can do better than this, or do you just like to label and move on?

Ahem.

"Wrong" or "Right" is a label.

"Legal" or "Illegal" is a legal standard.

Whether you label music piracy as "wrong" or "right" is entirely up to you, and if you think it's right, nothing anyone can say will change your opinion.

However, that will not change the fact that it is, indeed, illegal.

^^^^^^^^
Some things that are illegal are a pain in the arse.

Buggery in Pennsylvania can bring transgressors a $5,000 fine and 10 years at hard labor.South Carolina's Code of Laws 16-412 includes "the abominable crime of buggery." A $500 fine and five years in prison are the punishment. Buggery in Maryland brings a one-to-10-year prison term. Anyone in Kansas caught engaging in this activity draws a maximum sentence of six months in jail.

That last part is bad news for gaysquawk Jayhawk.

Ah, so you meant "pain in the arse" literally.

It not so much file sharing per say it's sharing the types of files that are intellectual property and are thus protectd by copyright.

Thats not to say I don't do it.
