Did I ever tell the story about doing a show with Maki as our entry. I had students and interns with me when and I told this this young intern that the wasabi was guacamole. I figured she knew I was joking until she took a huge pointer-finger full and jabbed it in her mouth. We all died laughing and she finished the show with tears in her eye and a great big pulsating snot bubble.

The first company I worked for in the City, being one of the largest softs traders in the world, we often received weird and wonderful samples unsolicited.
One day, a little packet arrived on our desk labelled 'Nigerian Red-Hot Bird-eye chili powder'.Normally, such shite went straight into the bin but being curry fanciers and knowing the Nigerian penchant for telling porkies, one of my colleagues decided to test the veracity of the statement 'Red-Hot'.He put the tiniest quantity on a matchstick and touched it to his tongue.Almost instantly he was writhing and spluttering like a big girly sissy.
Being young and cocky, I called him out and announced I would eat a whole teaspoonful for a £100 bet.Well, £100 would get you a pretty good night out 20 years ago, but you never saw £100 appear on the desk so fast in all your life.
Needless to say,the fucking stuff damn near killed me.I went white as a sheet, developed the shakes, ringing in my ears, streaming eyes, cold sweat and went into shock to the point where I almost passed out.It was the hardest £100 I have ever earned.

Similar situation. Big dick contest with my Mexicanos over who could eat this stuff:

Of course I stepped up to the plate and one on the guys "loaded" up a saltine cracker with the stuff. My mouth went numb yet felt like I swallowed napalm, I only saw red and even my hair hurt for half an hour. I teetered on the edge of pukedom but definitely did not want this stuff to come back up, possibly through my nasal cavity. I singed all the hairs on my anus the next day.
