We killed thousands of innocent Germans and Japanese civilians during WWII in order to bring that war to a successful conclusion.

Wars that were not of our own choice. The war in Iraq never had to be fought, and those children did not have to die.

Recall that earlier generations faced down fascism and communism not just with missiles and tanks, but with sturdy alliances and enduring convictions. They understood that our power alone cannot protect us, nor does it entitle us to do as we please. Instead, they knew that our power grows through its prudent use; our security emanates from the justness of our cause, the force of our example, the tempering qualities of humility and restraint.

If only Saddam had obeyed all of the restrictions put on him by the UN none of this would have happened.

You know, once in a while you have to look at the bright side........ You keep saying we never do anything right.........We can't get the water supply going, we can't give them electricity, etc. etc. Like I said, look at the bright side, what do you do when the power is out.......... Never mind, we don't want to know... adults usually have adult entertainment in mind. They can always make a few more suicide bombers in the dark can't they?

So Bruce, did we invade them so we can restore electricity and water to these people? Hell I can think of many third rate countries that would welcome us to invade them in this case, the only problem would they put up a fight? if they do, should we add them to the list of terrorists too?
Help me understand this mess Bruce.

Point taken, he will have to do the same. Maybe if he showed you the article or the date that picture was taken where the timing corresponds to the invasion when Iraqis did not use car bombs as of yet. Would that satisfy you?

Is that a trick question? With the way many of these photos have been either doctored or flat out staged, there is serious question if any of them can be trusted to show the real facts. To answer your question, no, I don't think it would. Seeing is no longer believing, there are far too many ways to distort the facts. We have seen that over and over again, and you are well of it....
