Even the most cynical person would have to admit that with Bush's popularity at an all time low, Iraq on the verge of civil war and the Republicans about to lose the house and possibly the senate that the capture of Bin Laden would have to be seen as a great victory and a reversal of fortune. So Bush doesn't want to capture him because his "daddy" is bedding with Osama?

I'm not convinced that the administration is all that interested in removing Bin Laden from the playing field (they've kept him on the back-burner for years now), but if
that's true, it certainly has nothing to do with Bush I and a relationship with the Bin Laden family. All the big oil guys know each other to some extent. Any such relationship has nothing whatsoever to do with Osama
