Political Correctess rules in the Middle East

A view from the Middle East.

>
>>
>>
>>The rules of POLITICAL CORRECTNESS when it comes to the Israeli-Arab
>>conflict:
>>Rule # 1: In the Middle East, it is always the Arabs that attack
first,
>>and it's always Israel who defends itself. This is called
"retaliation".
>>
>> Rule # 2: The Arabs, whether Palestinians or Lebanese, are not
allowed
>>to kill Israelis. This is called "terrorism"
>>
>>Rule # 3: Israel has the right to kill Arab civilians; this is called
>>"self-defense", or these days "collateral damage".
>>
>>Rule # 4: When Israel kills too many civilians. The Western world
calls
>>for restraint. This is called the "reaction of the international
>>community".
>>
>>Rule # 5: Palestinians and Lebanese do not have the right to capture
>>Israeli military, not even a limited number, not even 1 or 2.
>>
>>Rule # 6: Israel has the right to capture as many Palestinians as
they
>>want (Palestinians: around 10000 to date, 300 of which are children,
>>Lebanese: 1000s to date, being held without trial). There is no
limit;
>>there is no need for proof of guilt or trial. All that is needed is
the
>>magic word: "terrorism"
>>
>>Rule # 7: When you say "Hezbollah", always be sure to add "supported
by
>>Syria and Iran"
>>
>>Rule # 8: When you say "Israel", never say "supported by the USA, the
UK
>>and other European countries", for people (God forbid) might believe
this
>>is not an equal conflict
>>
>>Rule # 9: When it comes to Israel, don't mention the words "occupied
>>territories", "UN resolutions", “Geneva conventions". This could
distress
>>the audience of Fox.
>>
>>
>>
>>Rule # 10: Israelis speak better English than Arabs. This is why we
let
>>them
>>
>>Speak out as much as possible, so that they can explain rules 1
through 9.
>>This is called "neutral journalism".
>>
>>
>>
>>Rule # 11: If you don't agree with these rules or if you favor the
Arab
>>side over the Israeli side, you must be a very dangerous anti-Semite.
You
>>may even have to make a public apology if you express your honest
opinion
>>(isn't democracy wonderful?)

Yawn....

Why don't you just post an Al-Queda video while you're at it?

I guess rule 11 applies to me. I now understand why boo is on a mission to smear me. Wait, I am already a "piece of shit", so now he hovers like a fly and keeps on taking nibbles here and there.

Maybe if I can come up with an "appropriate apology" I will be off the hook. Any suggestions?

No apology is necessary.

Martyrdom would be acceptable, though.....

Who else you want to take this avenue so you will have bliss in this forum boo? When is your mission accomplished?

Looks to me like you can dish it out but you can't take it.

Look back just a few posts above. Teutone posted some old "fair and balanced" arab propaganda and I made a sarcastic comment. Then you come in out of the blue and say I'm trying to "smear you." This thread had nothing to do or say about you until you interjected yourself into it.

You are trying to do that throughout. You seem to only make a point by taking someone down so you can leverage whatever crap you preach. You have done it over and over boo. I am just returning the favor. You stop being a racist and then maybe I will "calm" down and be nice.

Ultimately I don't really care if you "calm down" or not. That's your choice to make. If you feel that your current strategy in dealing with me is working then, by all means, carry on.

Several days ago you said you were going to take a different tack with me. If this is what you meant by that then it seems to me like it has backfired Mr. "math teacher."

Here's a suggestion: why don't you take a page from FTL's playbook. He decided that he would actually try to discuss issues unemotionally and I think that it's working out better for him.

Why don't you go to the Valery Plame thread and dazzle us by analyzing it using your powers of deduction, maybe converting everything there to the language of symbolic algebra and figure out what happened with that case?

Indeed symbolic algebra is such a consice method of summarizing propositions and coming to logical conclusions that I have been able to condense your 2000 posts into just two symbols: B. S.

Well I am glad that you came up to a conclusion as to how you should deal with me. I did try to tone it down with you but you kept chasing me around in every post so you can squeeze a comment or two to discredit whatever I was talking about. So I did the same to you and that's where we are.
Next I don't need your input about where and how I should post unless you actually succeeded in owning this forum. Unfortunately you are not there yet; maybe if you keep at it you may drive off my likes and enjoy bliss in a forum that will tickle your fancy. Unfortunately your racist attitude is not going to win you enough bonus points to make you a respected poster here. Try as you may to twist words and arms but it’s clear what you are here for. So please next time you mention who’s got a “condescending attitude” here, just look in the mirror.
