Of course, I could be wrong.
You could man up and go down there and ask them. I bet they would be happy to answer your question.

A wasted retort on your part.

I was in N.O. to assist with some of the relief work. Our church sent people there. It also sent people for tsunami releif, but my wife didn't want me to travel that far.

Plus I have sent money to help out.

Plus a business partner and I own some rental places in the L.A. area and we put up two N.O. families for about 6 months--rent free.

But yes, perhaps the comment was insensitive...but not worse than many of the other comments posted by others here.

As penance I'll stop watching Jeff Foxworthy for a week.

Happy now?

Yes they did. State and local governments, along with the feds ran a test drill and found the flaws in the system. Must have lost that.

But as for the last year, it has been the Feds and FEMA who promised to clean up and promised so much money and promised and promised every time the cameras were on. And the trailers were late and then they weren't hooked up and then they all had the same key and then money was not there for EPA and then money was not available for moving debris to federal landfields for hazardous waste. Then the gov asked FEMA to move trailers that were broken when delivered and FEMA said 'sorry' no can do.

So, all are involved but this one goes to the boys at the top.

Keep watching Foxworthy. Just got to remember the annoying rule. Only blacks can make black jokes, only Southerners can talk about our trailers.

You know the best house warming present you can get a Southern family? Armor All for the tires.

By the way, I meant to put a smiley by that comment earlier [since yours looked like humor] but someone was talking to me while I was typing and I hit submit. Sorry about that.

What kind of fucked up childhood is required to make someone believe that the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT is going to bail them out?

The results of such idiocy can be seen in the faces of the followers of the liberal establishment in New Orleans.

This is EXACTLY the mentality that is perpetuated ad nauseum in New Orleans, and Louisiana in general. It's the promise of the "Chocolate City" that the ignoramical (sic) Ray Nagin promises, because "God wants it that way".

Disgusting.

"I find this absolutely digesting and revolting, is there no moderators on this site
to put a stop to this sort of nonsense?"

Digesting? I'm glad it doesn't make you sick.

I notice that you are a new member of this community.May I suggest that if you don't like what you see, you do the obvious thing and fuck off and mind your own business. There are plenty of English language fora available on the web which you might find both edifying and inoffensive.

I must have missed the rule that states that 100 percent accuracy in spelling
is a must to post here!
But I did read the part that states no profanity, indecent or pornographic postings.

Along with no harassment and abusive & threating posts to other members.

I suggest then you read up on the rules old timer.
