Here's one I really like. It's taken down the barrel of a Confederate cannon in the woods below Cemetary Ridge at Gettysburg where Pickett's division hid before the famous charge. The open field in view is where 15,000 men gave their lives before the afternoon was half over. The small patch of trees on the horizon sighted down the gun barrel is the famous "Copse of Trees", which is where the High Water Mark of the Confedercy memorial is located.
Recall that earlier generations faced down fascism and communism not just with missiles and tanks, but with sturdy alliances and enduring convictions.
