Ahh yes. Because we all know that the only 6000lbs vehicles on the road are SUV's driven by single occupants. Instead of a vast marjority of the vehicles in that class and qualifying for a tax break actually contributing jobs to the economy.
So the 1000+lbs of batteries in an electric car that have a limited life span are not wasteful?
My book there should be no subisidies for personal vehicle period. Let the market place decide what is a vaible product.
