Was listening to talk radio today and the subject of Samual L. Jackson came up. Someone claimed that he has the best, most memorable lines in movieland. (I saw that POS from Tarantino called Pulp Fiction and I beg to differ).
I think that Danny DeVito has the best lines. Here's a couple (paraphrasing) from War of the Roses:
There are four ways the world determines that a man is successful: his house, his car, his wife and his shoes.
What do you call 500 lawyers lying on the bottom of the Ocean? A good start...
From DeVito to Churchill (not that clown Ward Churchill--the real one). After giving a talk in the House of Commons a female MP stood up and said ""If you were my husband, I'd give you some hemlock." Churchill replied, "If you were
my wife, I would take it."
