Although the Egyptians first domesticated and fattened ducks and geese, it believed that that Romans initiated the practice of force feeding via a funnel.
So if we find ancient and barbaric traditions acceptable in the 21st century for nothing more than pleasure, what say we bring back throwing Christians to the lions and crucifying beligerent Jews?-sounds like a blast to me.(We could give Islamo fascists the chioce of either so they don't feel left out and start making trouble).
If we must eat meat, the least we should do is attempt to produce it in the most humane way possible. The way we treat our animals is a measure of civilised society. The next cruelties which should be abolished are crate production of veal and of course, Halal slaughtering.

Say what you will - if the choice is between civilization and an endless supply of bacon-wrapped filet mignon served on a bed of foie gras, I'll have the steak.

I wouldn't mind trying that on some of these sadistic fucks, if I didn't think it would be a 'wild goose chase'.
