Yes I do not. It's the least of my concern. I worry about when my life will be normal again. So I excuse me if I don't go on for pages discussing the issue. When you become confined to your home and work because of security concerns or shortage of gasoline, you stop caring about stuff that don't make a difference.

It is unfortunate that innocent lives are being killed.
It is unfortunate that over 1 million displaced don’t have homes and live in schools.
It is unfortunate that 40% of the country is destroyed.
It is unfortunate that the country will need over 5 years to recover from all this.
It is unfortunate that people are now broke, out of business and unemployed.
It is unfortunate that people have to wait in line for 3 hours to buy a gallon of gasoline.
It is unfortunate that schools will not open on time because they're filled with refugees that have nowhere to go.
It is unfortunate that you go to sleep every night knowing that tomorrow is another round.

So there you go. I can go on and on… Big picture please.

..and just one final "unfortunate.": it's unfortunate that the Lebanese people lacked the foresight to see where this Faustian deal with the devil will lead them and fail to do anything about it for 6 years....

Your devil is not my devil. The devil engages in evil for no reasons, without doing any good.

It's unfortunate that the Syrians with the approval of the US run Lebanon's foreign policies from 1990-2005. Those 6 years you mention are effectively reduced to a year. Do you think that complicated issues with global reach can be solved in a year.

I'm sure that Jayhawk will agree with you that you cannot put a timetable on these things similar to Iraq. Right Jayhawk?!?!?!?!

To see some more examples of doctored and staged photos from Lebanon check out Michelle Malkins site: http://hotair.com/.

She gives an example in the video of the identical woman with a pained expression on her face decrying the destruction on two different days with different backrounds. Also that picture of a clean wedding gown on a manikan standing upright amid all the destruction is hilarious. Other examples include pictures of the identical scene but with bylines claiming the destruciton had occured the very same day. And this brilliant photographer (er photoshopper) just happened across a burning Koran in the rubble of a building.

There is a clear agenda here to distort the news with Reuters being either a willing accomplice or an incompetent news organization.

So which is it?

You are making this into a big deal. There is propaganda on both sides. Next you will say there really isn't anyone dying at all.

Hotair.com is a website set up by Michelle Malkin the same lady that wrote:
In Defense of Internment: The Case for Racial Profiling in World War II and the War on Terror
The same woman that accused Professor Paul Mirecki of lying about getting beaten up for his views against creationism (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paul_Mirecki) Very nice woman I see
The kind you like I am sure

No one is denying that the photos have been doctored before you go and accuse me of supporting that too. I am just stating this before you go on swinging again. That said, Azziz is making a point based on his experience. An experience that we should feel privileged to be privy to. Let's not spoil that opportunity by accusing him of siding terrorists because he clearly is not doing that.
Our support for Azziz is in no way a siding to the “Arab Cause” or some other label. He is a BW member that happens to live there and has shown great patience in enduring personal attacks and misrepresentations of his views in the midst of living in hell right now. Have some respect.

The big picture?

When a population tolerates Hezbollah in their neighborhood, they become soldiers in Hezbollah's assymetrical war. Every man who allows his women and children to remain in the battle is a pathetic excuse for a human being. If you let someone launch a missle from your front porch instead of shooting him in the head, you join him in the battle and you are just as much a soldier as he is.

A dead civilian is as much of a weapon for Hezbollah as a Katusha missile.

When the men of Lebanon realize who needs to be hunted down and killed in order to protect the women and children of Lebanon then things will change.
