Thanks Teutone, I find these numbers a little surprising, but I am not disputing you, or your sources.
It makes me wonder what the immigration/emigration numbers look like; there are probably more Jews entering Israel than there are Arabs. Plus average longevity of the two factions is possibly a factor (but I don't think significant).
Obviously, if my
hypothetical numbers are ignored, Israel will eventually have an Arab majority. This will clearly defeat the original purpose for the creation of a "Jewish State".
Lastly, it is their
country. I think they should remain in control of the government, and in the population majority. The immigaration laws are their
call, and the respective birth rates (if it's possible to exercise control over them) are theirs as well.
